Kalamazoo Daycare with a Focus on Safety
Sprout Early Care & Preschool is dedicated to providing the best possible care to children in the Kalamazoo and Otsego areas. When you trust us to watch your children for the day, you can rest assured that their safety is our top priority, and we make every effort to ensure that your child is free to learn and grow in an environment in which he or she feels comfortable. In today’s post, we will discuss the measures we take to ensure the safety of every child in our programs,
Our Staff are Trained in First Aid and CPR
Kids will be kids, and they are apt to get minor bumps and scrapes during a normal day of activity. However, in the case that an accident does happen, each of our staff members are trained in first aid to ensure your child is properly treated. Our staff is also trained in the latest CPR methods in the case of an emergency crisis situation.
We Perform Extensive Background Checks on Our Employees
We understand the trust you are putting in us to care for your child during your workday. This is why we make sure that every prospective employee we interview is properly vetted with a full background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure that there are no red flags in anyone’s history before we hire them to work in our daycare facility.
Our Facility is Secure
At Sprout Early Care & Preschool, our facility requires a security code for entry. This eliminates the chances of anyone just walking in and out as they please, giving you peace of mind that there is never anyone in our facility who isn’t supposed to be there.
We Require Check-In and Check-Out
While it may be an inconvenience, especially if you are in a hurry, we require you to check your child in upon arrival and check him or her out when you leave. This gives us a detailed record of everyone coming, so we know who is in the building and what time anyone left.
ID Required for Visitors
We want to know who is visiting our facilities for a variety of safety precautions and tracking reasons. This is why we require all new visitors to our daycares to show valid identification for the safety of everyone involved.
